Where is the Palace Theater?
An undisclosed location in the heart of San Francisco’s bustling North Beach district, within a stone’s throw of many of SF’s best restaurants and bars. More specifically, about half a block from Broadway and Columbus, walking east, on the north side of the street. Look for the sign for Joe’s Clock Shop. Check your ticket confirmation for the entrance address and arrival instructions.
How long is the show?
90 minutes plus a brief intermission.
When should we arrive?
Follow the doors and start times listed for your performance and in your confirmation email. Doors open an hour before showtime. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before show start. Guests must arrive at least 20 minutes before the performance begins; there is no late seating. Leave yourself plenty of time to check in, find your seats, and enjoy your time in Club 1923, our main bar.
How can we plan a date night in San Francisco around the show?
Start with dinner in North Beach, then head to Joe’s Clock Shop on Broadway for The Illusionist. Doors open an hour before showtime, giving you time for a drink in Club 1923. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early; there is no late seating. The show lasts 90 minutes plus a brief intermission. Drinks and the optional Sleight-of-Drink cocktail flight are purchased separately. Choose your show date, then explore the bar and cocktail flight.
Which seats should we choose?
Good question! Kevin includes participation from all areas of the house, and the seats in each section provide a great experience of the show. Kevin’s favorite seats are the drink rail behind the orchestra pit. Booths are great for groups of four. Front row is great if you want to be as close as possible to the action. The show is great from all angles!
Are drinks or the cocktail flight included?
The Sleight-of-Drink cocktail flight is an optional add-on. You can also order from our full bar. Explore the bar and Sleight-of-Drink cocktail flight here →
Can we bring children?
The show is written for an adult audience and recommended for ages 12+. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Guests under 21 will receive a handstamp or wristband upon entry. Please use your best judgement about whether your child can sit quietly throughout the show. If you need any clarification, email the box office.
What accessibility arrangements are available?
ADA-accessible seats are available in all sections, though not every seat is ADA accessible. Please note any mobility or ADA concerns when booking. For help choosing suitable seats, contact the box office.

All sales are final. No refunds. Exchanges may be available up until one week before the performance if the performance or section has not sold out; fees apply. If the performance or section has sold out, no exchanges are available. Tickets may be transferred to other guests. Read the terms and conditions, or contact the box office for help.
