SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Feb 27, 2020 – Boxcar Theatre and illusionist Kevin Blake are pleased to announce a return engagement of THE ILLUSIONIST AT THE PALACE THEATER, playing biweekly on Thursday nights starting FEBRUARY 20, 2020 through OCTOBER 1, 2020.

After its sold-out runs in spring and fall 2019, The Illusionist is Blake’s most shocking and entertaining solo show to date. Performances start at 8 p.m. Tickets, $39 – $59, are now on sale at https://sanfranciscomagicshow.com/.

For Blake, what began as a childhood escape into a world of fantasy and adventure turned into a lifelong fascination with magic and illusion and three acclaimed underground shows. He can read minds, predict the future and see into our collective memories. Drawing inspiration from David Blaine, Penn & Teller and other modern illusionists, he brings magic kicking and screaming into the 21st century. No rabbits, top hats or cutting people in half allowed.

Over the last several years, Blake has opened for Third Eye Blind at the Fillmore, toured with Band of Magicians in New Zealand and Australia, and impressed judges and audiences on NBC’s America’s Got Talent – and earlier this week on The CW’s Penn & Teller: Fool Us.

“Defies magic stereotypes.”
