SAN FRANCISCO, CA, July 1, 2022 – The Illusionist is going strong and will remain at the Palace Theater through the summer.
The Illusionist, which opened in March to sold-out audiences and rave reviews, will continue to delight San Francisco audiences on Thursdays, Fridays, and select Saturdays through the end of September.
“The Illusionist has been a huge hit for us,” said producer Geoff Libby. “It’s been a long time since we’ve had a hit show at the theater and it feels great to finally be in business again. When we took the show on, we didn’t dare to dream that it would be so successful.”
“The Illusionist is a perfect fit for the Palace Theater,” continued Libby. “The show is timeless, beautiful, and appeals to all ages. It’s really just a wonderful show.”
Writer, coproducer, and star of the show, magician Kevin Blake, who is an alumni of America’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us, echoed Libby’s sentiments. “I’m thrilled everyone is loving the show so much,” said Blake. “I think it’s going to be a great summer.”
